Last season Tom cracked the singles line-up and started in over half of the team's dual matches. His best win came against nationally ranked Santa Barbara in the #5 position.

During his sophomore year Tom saw most of his action during the fall season. In the spring he started in three matches winning two, and an excellent 7-4 doubles record playing with 4 different partners.

Tom represented Yale in two tournaments freshman year and went 2-4 in singles matches.

Tom is a three-time ITA Scholar-Athlete Award recipient.

Prior to Yale, Tom won the Connecticut State High School 77th Annual CIAC Singles Championship. He is one of the top junior players from New England and was ranked among the top 100 junior players nationally. He graduated 2nd in his class at East Lyme High School.
