At Andover, Katherine captained her crew team to their second silver medal in two years at NEIRAs in 2006. She also lettered in cross country and her team was named New England Interscholastic Cross Country Champions in 2005. Katherine also played ice hockey.

At Yale, Katherine rowed in the Yale boat that won the Collegiate division of the 2006 Head of the Charles. Her interests include playing guitar, running, skiing and surfing. Katherine is a freshman in Calhoun College.
