While rowing for Community Rowing Inc during high school, Lee won gold medals at the US Rowing National Championships in 2005, Canadian Henley in 2004 and 2005, and the Head of the Charles Regatta in 2004. She also won bronze medals at the US Rowing Youth National Championships in 2004 and 2005.

At Yale, during her freshman season, she won a gold at HOCR in the Youth Eights event. In 2006, she won another gold at HOCR, this time in the Collegiate Eights event.

Lee is a sophomore in Saybrook College.
