At Exeter, Ryan rowed for three years on the crew team. in 2004 she rowed in the 3V that won a silver medal at Girls NEIRAs. Then in 2006, she won another silver at NEIRAs, this time with the 2V. Her interests include theater, basketball, filmmaking and comedy.

She is currently a freshman in Ezra Stiles College.
