Wilde attended The Holton-Arms School where she rowed for four years. As a standout rower at a small school, Wilde was invited to the USA Junior National Development Camp in both her sophomore and junior summers. In 2005 she won the junior A eight and placed second in the junior A four at US Nationals.

At Yale, Allix is a freshman in Morse College.
