2006: NFHCA National Academic Squad honoree ... Appeared in 14 games, starting 10
2005: Pierce played in two games for the Bulldogs. She received the Senior Award as the freshman who reflects positive contribution to the team's philosophy and whose individual character encourages the future direction and excellence of Yale field hockey.
High School: Pierce was chosen to play for Vermont in the 2005 Twin State game, capping a stellar career for Rutland High. She was team captain and MVP as a senior, earning NFHCA High School Regional All-American team honors and the Gatorade "Will to Win" Award. She also earned first team all-state honors from the Burlington Free Press twice and was first team Marble Valley League twice. Her work in the classroom earned her a spot on the NFHCA National High School Academic Squad and in the National Honor Society.
Why Yale? The people and field hockey team are wonderful, positive and inspiring. Academically the school presents me with endless opportunities to grow and learn.
